Block Champ Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Block Champ mobile app ("the app"), published by Zero to One ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where the two conflict, Apple's agreement takes precedence for the parts it covers.

1. The game

Block Champ is free to download and play. The free version shows advertising and allows a limited number of ranked attempts per day, as described in the app. We may change the game, its rules, scoring, leagues and features over time, and we may remove features or stop offering the app altogether.

2. Your account

The app creates an anonymous account for you. You are responsible for the display name you choose: it must not be offensive, impersonate someone else, or contain personal data. We may change or hide a name that breaks this rule and may suspend or delete accounts that cheat, abuse other players or interfere with the service.

3. Fair play

Leaderboards only work if everyone plays the same game. You must not use bots, automation, modified versions of the app, or any other means to submit runs you did not play by hand. Ranked runs are verified on our server, and runs that fail verification are refused. Accounts that attempt to cheat may be removed from the leaderboards or deleted.

4. Block Champ Pro subscription

  • What it is: an optional auto-renewing subscription, available monthly or yearly, that gives unlimited ranked attempts, removes banner and full-screen ads, unlocks full statistics and run history, and shows a badge next to your name.
  • Billing: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. The price is shown in the app before you subscribe. Prices may vary by country and may change; a price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and the store will tell you before it takes effect.
  • Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Free trial: when a free trial is offered, you are charged nothing until the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Cancelling: you manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings, not in the app. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting your Block Champ account does not cancel the subscription.
  • Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and refund requests go to them under their policies.

5. Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Optional reward videos (to revive a Classic game or earn an extra ranked attempt) only play when you choose to watch them. See thePrivacy Policy for what the advertising partner collects and the choices you have.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its name, artwork, sounds and code belong to Zero to One. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to play the app on devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or resell the app or any part of it, except where the law allows it.

7. Availability and warranty

The app is provided "as is". We do our best to keep the service running and the boards fair, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and leaderboards, leagues and ranked days may be adjusted or reset if a fault or abuse requires it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be waived.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
